WITH GARDENING season in full swing, I can't help but dream about how great it would be to have a potting shed or even just a little spot for a potting bench. Sure, we have a shed but it's a maze of shovels, a lawnmower, a kayak, odds and ends of lumber and tools and an ever-growing collection of flea market and auction finds just waiting for their makeovers. And so I keep dreaming of one of these...

TODAY I'M loving this charming garden locker! I've always had a thing for little garden sheds and potting benches and I just think this is the cutest way to put a vintage locker to great use. I don't think I'll get much use out of my shovels, wellies and gardening tools in Dubai... I guess it will be a bit of balcony container gardening for awhile.

SPRING will soon be here and it has me thinking about sweet little sprouts poking their heads out to welcome the sun. The flowers and palms have been so beautiful in Dubai that I just want to kick start the blooming season. Have you started planning your garden yet? IN AN EFFORT to coax spring along, I thought these ideas for decorating with branches might make it come faster (wishful thinking?). Cherry blossoms are one of my favourites but I love the simplicity of clipping any kind of budding branches to display.
