[ you can shop til you drop ]

SO AFTER a week in NY, did I buy anything? Seriously, how could I not?! The problem was deciding where I was going to spend my money. This trip couldn't be an all-out shopping spree so I would have to choose my purchases wisely.

First stop: J.Crew. Without a J.Crew I could visit in Canada, I knew I would be spending some time there! Luckily they've got some guy's stuff to keep my man occupied while I browsed. Finally, I chose this cute embroidered top on sale for $28!

Next, a cute little shop called Apartment 48, a little bohemian-ish in style with all kinds of fun home accents.

I was drawn to how pretty these branches were with their clip-on butterflies and decided to buy a package to recreate the same look. And for $15 and some branches from the woods, it would make a cheap and cheerful display!

Next stop: Anthropologie! Filled to the rafters with beautiful clothes and an amazing home department, I could have spent the afternoon in just this store alone. My hubby quickly realized that he'd better find a spot to get comfortable since I would be a while!

I love all of the cute dish towels they have and after pondering all the lovely things I was finding, decided to limit my purchase to a cute new one for my kitchen.

We strolled around and I came across West Elm and decided to take a peek. I wasn't planning on buying any bedding, lamps or furniture but it doesn't hurt to take a look!

I loved this table arrangement with the little bird plate and when i realized that they had an assortment of them, I decided that they would be cute hung on a wall. And at $6 each, how could I resist?

But my main plan was to hold out for one extra special purchase and I knew that with my obsession for handbags, that's what it would be. A new LV wasn't in the budget but for a fraction of the cost, I found the most adorable bag at Kate Spade that's girly and makes me smile whenever I look at it. I found my splurge! With all the temptation, I think I did pretty well!
