FOR THOSE OF you who love upcycling furniture as much as I do, you'll know why I love this shop so much.
My Back Shed in Oakville, Ontario has been one of my favourite haunts for many years - right from when it actually was a back shed and you had to walk past the pool in the backyard to get to it! Dressers, beds, chairs and tables are all transformed into works of beauty with soft white paint, and most recently soft pink and black. Romantic accessories are interspersed throughout the store, making it a feast for the eyes. And the best part is the adjoining room filled with wonderful pieces just waiting to take on a new life. If you are ever in the Toronto area, be sure to take the drive west to Oakville to experience it for yourself!
