Marty Curtis started his cafe as an ice cream shop, then added espresso and baked goods to stretch business year-round. Soon his butter tarts and Big Ass pies were famous and his fan base now stretches worldwide and includes Goldie Hawn and Mike Myers to name a few. And his Big Ass pies really are big - 16" across and 4" deep! His special stainless steel, engraved pie plates are available to purchase in store or on his website. He has recently published a cookbook that reveals that secret butter tart recipe, a 100-year old recipe from nuns in Quebec.
