ARE YOU like me and always need alterations done on your clothes? Any pants I buy are always too long and waists on my jeans often gape at the back. Well, I've recently discovered Craftsy...

... and I've decided to enrol in their online class Tailoring Ready-to-Wear...

I've sewn since I was a kid - starting with doll clothes, prom dresses, home decor, slipcovers, handbags - creating most with my own hand-drawn patterns... but to be honest, I've never really known how to properly alter clothing other than a simple hem. Weird, huh?

So when Craftsy sent me an email offering all first-time classes for $14.99 until March 3rd, I figured now was the time to learn something new.

My alterations pile has been growing {thanks in part to some weight-loss which I'm certainly not complaining about!} and many items are just too nice to simply toss or donate. We'll see how many I'll be able to salvage!

If you'd like to see all the online classes they offer from beginner to advanced [sewing, crafting, crocheting...etc, click here}.

Have you ever altered your own clothes?
